FAQs

General FAQs

  • For best results, please do not consume: alcohol, caffeine, Aspirin, Ibuprofen or any other substance that could increase blood flow 24 hours before treatment.

Too much blood flow can cause heavy scabbing, which may result in lost pigment that could create gaps in your healed brows.

If you usually pencil in your eyebrows, please feel free to come with makeup on so that I can see your desired shape!

  • Between 12-18 months, depending on your skin type. If you have particularly oily skin, it could be as early as 6 months.

  • Pain during the treatment is relative. Clients who have their period usually feel stronger pain, while other clients compare the pain to having your eyebrows plucked. It is also possible to use mild anaesthetic cream which can entirely eliminate the pain during the treatment.

  • After the treatment you will be given after care instructions.

For the first week, please avoid wearing makeup on and around your eyebrows. Please wash your face carefully, without getting your new brows wet!

You will need to stay out of the sun and keep your brows dry for at least 5-7 days, until the healing is complete.

You will be provided with an essential balm, packed with vitamins and healing elements. This is to be applied 3-4 times daily, to keep your eyebrows moist, unless you already have particularly oily skin.

Your brows will scab slightly and may be itchy during the first 5-7 days of healing time, but using the balm will keep them moisturised. DO NOT PICK ANY SCABS!

If the existing pigment is too dark then it would be best to wait for the work to fade or have removal.

  • After your Covid-19 Vaccination, it is advised to allow the body’s immune system to adjust and respond before considering treatment. Therefore, it is not advised to perform microblading or semi-permanent makeup treatments following the vaccination for two weeks.

Your top up treatment will need to be scheduled 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment. Please remember to take this into consideration when booking your appointment.
