Learn about Microblading

The Procedure
Microblading (semi permanent tattoo procedure) is the art of placing fine strokes or scratches into the top layers of the skin, in an attempt to make the brows look even more real and natural.
PhiBrows is a Microblading procedure that uses a tiny blade dipped in pigment to “draw” hair strokes into the brow. Shading is a stipling technique, where the blade is pushed directly down onto the skin, rather than pulled. It is more commonly used on clients that have sparse eyebrows and require more definition. This procedure is usually done alongside Microblading, with the strokes appearing on top of the Shading.
Microblading is performed by depositing pigment under the epidermal layer of the skin by a using a disposable, sterilized hand held blade. There can be some discomfort during the procedure, due to the minor breakage of the skin.

PhiBrows Microblading and Shading technique is an advanced technique, that combines Microblading with either manual or machine shading which provides a more natural and realistic look.
The mаіn difference is that Microblading on its own gives a simulated hаіr effect, whereas shading can add more depth, mimic thickness of hairs and help provide a softer finish.
Adding shading provides a visual effect of density and volume.
This is a great option for anyone who has naturally thicker brow hair but also wants to add definition where the hair is sparse.
Shading results typically last longer than Microblading alone due to the significant colour concentration.

The training for PhiBrows is considerably more informative, detailed and specific than regular Microblading training. It is elite in SPMU and PhiBrows Artists only use the highest quality tools and applications to achieve the most natural, desired eyebrows.
The PhiBrows method was developed to conform to the 'Phi' ratio (1.618) also known as the Golden Ratio and helps in mapping out facial contours by designing a shape that compliments all facial features to ensure ultimate symmetry and shape.
I have access to an online community with support from other artists, experts and doctors. Medical assistance is always on hand if I ever need advice, which you do not get with regular Microblading training. Although the training takes much longer than a regular Microblading course, you can be assured that you are in very safe and experienced hands.
The PhiBrows pigments are a revolutionary formula, using the best qualities of iron oxide and synthetic pigments which means the colour will never change and will last longer in the skin than most other Microblading pigments on the market.
I also use a specially engineered PhiBrows 18U blade, which is the highest standard of blade used for drawing hyper-realistic hair-strokes, as well as guaranteeing quality and sterility.
Microblading is ideal for clients who would like to correct their eyebrow shape, fill in sparse areas or for those who have suffered complete hair loss and would like a new, natural looking set of brows.
I never deviate away from your natural shape. We all have specific anatomy and your natural eyebrows will be a perfect fit to your face! My job is to enhance your natural shape and features.

First, we discuss the procedure process and answer any questions have. During the consultation we will discuss your preferences, colour, shape and overall desired look. This is where we will also patch test you and go through any contraindications. The consent form is signed and returned at this stage.
We then begin to draw and correct the shape until you are fully satisfied with the outcome.
The shape is calculated according to facial morphology and golden proportion (Phi 1.618). We use special tools such as the PhiBrows compass and the Phi app, which enables us to perfect the symmetry.
The colour is determined by looking at your natural hair colour and skin tone.
Once you are happy with the shape, we will remove any unwanted hairs.
Once your microblading/shading is complete, a pigment mask is left on to absorb the pigment. The eyebrows are then cleaned and aftercare is applied and given for you to take home and follow carefully.
The treatment usually takes 3 hours, therefore so please plan accordingly.

The entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks, depending on your skin regeneration and age.
The colour is always very dark for the first 2-7 days and your brows may look a lot thicker.
Approximately 7-10 days later, your eyebrows will lose about 40% of colour intensity.
Healing is fully complete after 28 days and this is when we add any corrections or pigment that has been lost, at the top-up.
After your eyebrows have fully healed, the colour may become a few shades lighter.
Between 10%-15% of drawn strokes may fade after the first treatment.
This is why a top up is required between 4-6 weeks after the first treatment!
After care is very important.
If you do not follow the advice given, you could lose up to 80% of hair strokes.
The success of the treatment depends on the skin type, post treatment care and exposure to external factors. Please do not pick your eyebrows, as this can result in gaps.
The colour duration depends on your skin type. If you have oily skin, the colour may not last quite as long.
Excessive sweating and sun exposure can also reduce the colour.
I recommend coming back within 10-12 months for your second treatment.
Lip Blush
This treatment is for anyone!
Pigment is implanted by digital machine into the dermal layers of the lip skin.
Using specially created pigments we can cover and create all types of coloured lips.
This technique can correct and reconstruct your lips. Unlike Microblading, this technique uses a machine.
If you have experienced uneven filler, scaring or would like the borders of your lips to be symmetrical and more outlined, this is the treatment for you!
Lip filler can sometimes leave the lips feeling washed out and lacking colour of definition, and Lip Blush is the perfect way to get that vibrancy back!
The treatment itself can take around 2 hours. A second session may be required 4-6 weeks later.
After your treatment, the lips take around 7 days to heal.
This is when the scabbing/flaking takes place but with the aftercare provided it is almost unnoticeable.
After 7 days, the pigment will lighten and expand below the surface of the skin but the colour will return 2-3 weeks later, before you come back for your top up.
Patch tests are required 24 hours before.
